I would suggest searching for *.d2s in your diablo2 folder or the plugy folder or your entire harddrive - the diablo 2 save files have to be somewhere ;) Usually the save files are located in "\Diablo II\Save" If you use D2SE and you are playing on 1.13c for example they would be in "\Diablo II\D2SE\CORES\1.13c\save"

To import offline characters in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you need to transfer the old Save files to the new game location. To do this you need to copy your old Diablo 2 save files, and paste them in " C:\Users\(your user name)\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected " save location.
cjnoone 7 years ago #1 Just a heads up, as one of the compatibility fixes for Diablo 2 in 1.14, games are saved in a new location. They used to be saved in \Save, I believe.
DarkMaster-1989 July 19, 2022, 2:44am 2. You can set a save path for mods but there's no way to change the base game default save location AFAIK. You could just run a "mod" with no changes with a custom save path and that'll still work. Watch this video from 0:32 to 1:30 or so, he explains how to set up mod save paths.
You can find the location of the Diablo II: Resurrected save file here. The game does support having your savefile backed up by on the Cloud. But if you still want to find your save file locally on your PC, then you can follow this guide.
